Nominated for the 2015 Spiel Des Jahres (Game of the Year), The Game is a co-operative card game for 1-5 players.
In The Game, players will have to work together to play cards into one of four different piles, with the hopes of discarding all 98 cards to win. Each turn, a player must play at least two cards into one or more of the piles and then the player draws as many cards as they played. The next player then takes their turn and play continues until one of the players cannot play the requisite two cards (or one card if the draw pile has been depleted).
The “backwards” rule adds a snag in your plans to victory. At any time, a player can play a card that is 10 higher or lower than the top card on the stack. Obviously, on the ascending pile you would play a card 10 lower and on the descending pile 10 higher. If that wasn’t tricky enough, players are not allowed to tell anyone else what cards they have, so The Game is constantly putting players on edge as each card played could upset their best-laid plans. The TIE Punisher Expansion Pack for X-Wing bolsters the Imperial Navy’s ranks with one pre-painted miniature TIE punisher, a beefier version of the TIE bomber with shielding, a second bomb chute, and three additional ordnance pods, each equipped with a twin ion engine.
Sculpted at the game’s standard 1/270 scale, the TIE punisher arrives to your table along with four ship cards and a punishing array of nine explosive upgrades, with which you can obliterate your enemies.
Like the K-wing Expansion Pack, the TIE Punisher Expansion Pack comes with the Extra Munitions upgrade, allowing you to make the most of your TIE punisher’s two torpedo slots, two missile slots, and two bomb slots. The Hound’s Tooth Expansion Pack gives life to the infamous Trandoshan bounty hunter Bossk and his signature YV-666 light freighter, introducing them to X-Wing as part of the Scum and Villainy faction. Rendered at the game’s standard 1/270 scale, the YV-666 light freighter is a towering, large-base starship that features three attack, six shields, six hull points.
Naturally, as a skilled bounty hunter, Bossk ensured that there was plenty more to the Hound’s Tooth than first met the eye, and the Hound’s Tooth Expansion Pack also comes with four YV-666 ship cards and thirteen upgrades, including the Hound’s Tooth Title, which allows your YV-666 pilot to survive imminent destruction by escaping aboard the Nashtah Pup, a unique Z-95 Headhunter. The Hound’s Tooth Expansion Pack also comes with a ship card for the Nashtah Pup, though to fly it, you’ll need the miniature starship from the Most Wanted Expansion Pack or Z-95 Headhunter Expansion Pack.

The Stormclad is equipped with an accumulator that draws on the galvanic energies of nearby Stormblades to augment its impressive storm-powered generator blade. The Reliant is built for versatility, whether enveloping the enemy with crackling electrical fields from a distance using its Stormbringer or driving the opposition to its knees with pulse hammer strikes.
This box set contains two color stat cards and one multi-part heavy warjack plastic model (PIP 31095). Included are all the components to assemble one of two heavy warjack variants: Reliant or Stormclad. A player may field any number of these heavy warjacks in a Cygnar army.
